Description We currently have an opportunity for a Contract Manager to join our Health & Education team and play a key role in delivering safe, compliant and high‑performing facilities services within a complex tertiary healthcare environment. Reporting to the General Manager, Health & Tertiary Education, you’ll help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support critical health services and patient care. This role is based on the Sunshine Coast, within Australia’s largest PPP hospital, and is open to candidates looking to relocate to the area. The site presents a unique and highly rewarding operational environment, combining high‑security healthcare infrastructure, in‑house trades, and a substantial retail portfolio. Success in this role is driven through strong leadership of large, multidisciplinary teams, senior‑level stakeholder engagement, and disciplined delivery of lifecycle, contract and compliance obligations. What You’ll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Lead end‑to‑end facilities management operations across a complex, high‑security PPP hospital environment, ensuring service excellence, safety and compliance. Provide visible, values‑led leadership to large, multidisciplinary teams, building capability, accountability and strong performance culture. Manage senior stakeholder relationships, including client partners, clinical leaders and retail operators, with a focus on collaboration and trust. Oversee contract performance, lifecycle obligations and annualised contract reviews, ensuring outcomes align with commercial and service expectations. Drive continuous improvement through structured governance, clear reporting and a focus on sustainable, long‑term asset performance. What You’ll Bring Proven experience leading facilities management operations within complex environments such as healthcare or large‑scale infrastructure. Strong people leadership capability, with experience guiding diverse teams through change, growth and operational complexity. Demonstrated expertise in contract management, lifecycle delivery and stakeholder engagement at a senior level. A collaborative and thoughtful leadership style, balanced with the confidence to make decisions and hold teams accountable.
