Designer — Bras N Things | Pyrmont The Opportunity We’re looking for a creative and commercially minded Designer to join the Bras N Things Product team. This is a 12 month fixed term contract position. This role is responsible for executing the design direction of a product category within the Bras N Things portfolio. You will be delivering innovative and commercially successful ranges that meet customer needs, sales targets and margin expectations. You’ll collaborate closely with Buying, Planning, Garment Tech and Sourcing teams to bring seasonal collections to life, from concept through to store. What You’ll Be Doing Execute seasonal design strategy and develop commercially viable ranges for your product category Conduct trend research and competitor analysis to inform seasonal concepts, colour palettes and product direction Create detailed tech packs and manage product development in line with critical timelines Collaborate with Buying, and Planning teams to build balanced assortments that meet sales and margin targets Partner with suppliers and Garment Tech teams to ensure product quality, fit and final design execution meets expectations React to sales performance and customer insights to continuously improve future ranges Communicate range direction and product updates clearly to stakeholders across the business About You Tertiary qualification in Fashion or Lingerie Design Previous experience in a commercial apparel or intimates design role Strong CAD skills with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Solid understanding of product development processes Commercial mindset with the ability to interpret trends into customer focused product Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Collaborative team player with strong communication and stakeholder management skills Why You’ll Love It Here Hybrid working arrangements Generous product discounts across our brands Career development and progression opportunities A supportive and inclusive culture Opportunities to work on iconic Australian brands Focus on sustainability and responsible sourcing Cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace At Hanes Australasia we value an inclusive and diverse environment in line with our purpose of creating the fabric of a better life for our People and Planet.
