About the Role As an Ocean Freight Operations Coordinator - Exports, you will play a key role in the smooth execution of our end-to-end ocean freight export operations. Supporting export and domestic transport activities, you will ensure accurate documentation, seamless cargo movement, and proactive coordination with both internal teams and external partners. Your attention to detail and operational mindset will help maintain service excellence while driving efficiency across daily freight operations. This position is available in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Sydney. As the Ocean Freight Operations Coordinator - Exports , you will: Proven capability coordinating end-to-end ocean freight shipments across export activities, including bookings, documentation, and cargo movement. Strong stakeholder management skills, liaising effectively with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, transport providers, and customers. Solid understanding of ocean freight documentation and compliance requirements, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and regulatory obligations. High attention to detail with the ability to track shipments, maintain accurate records, and update freight management systems such as CargoWise One. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to manage inquiries, provide timely updates, and communicate delays or changes clearly. Well-rounded operational support skills and general administrative tasks to support efficient workflows. Key Skills and Qualifications 2 years’ experience in ocean freight export operations, with openness to entry-level candidates who have relevant training or exposure. Foundational knowledge of customs and maritime regulations, with the ability to apply compliance principles in day-to-day operations. Familiarity with freight management systems and confidence using Microsoft Office tools to support operational tasks. Strong organisational capability and attention to detail, enabling accurate, reliable work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively under pressure in deadline-driven settings while maintaining service and accuracy. Team-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused mindset, with a genuine willingness to learn and take on varied operational responsibilities. What moves you?
