We investigate crime and corruption, have oversight of the public sector including police. The CCC also has responsibility for restraining and recovering suspected proceeds of crime and administers Queensland's witness protection program. Its functions and powers are set out in the Crime and Corruption Act 2001. Presenting financial and non-financial evidence in affidavits, including affidavits in your own name, for proceeds of crime proceedings or assisting with the preparation and presentation of financial analyses for use in criminal proceedings and proceeds of crime proceedings where expert evidence is required. Drafting reports presenting investigative findings, managing competing priorities and drafting witness statements or affidavits within tight deadlines to meet operational requirements. Ensuring investigations are conducted in compliance with statutory and policy requirements. Establishing and maintaining productive working relationships with key internal stakeholders and external stakeholders, including legal and police stakeholders for proceeds of crime investigations.
