About The Role As Principal Injury Management Advisor, yourseasoned case management and IME experience will help guide decisions and best outcomes for stakeholders. Developing and delivering impactful education on WorkCover, rehabilitation, and workplace adjustment practices, your engagement will elevate the capability of managers and across QBCC. Exceptional written communication is essential in this role, enabling you to clearly and confidently engage on complex legal and medical issues within case work. As a trusted advisor to the WHS team you will provide clear guidance on claims management and rehabilitation matters. Your presence strengthens cohesion, builds confidence, and fosters a culture where safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement are embedded in every decision. Key Outcomes And Accountabilities In this role, the Principal Injury Management Advisor will: Lead QBCC's end‑to‑end injury, claims, and rehabilitation management, ensuring compliance, improving systems, and supporting employee wellbeing and safe return‑to‑work outcomes. Provide expert advice on complex legal, rehabilitation, and workers' compensation matters, building strong partnerships and lifting organisational capability to drive effective prevention and positive employee outcomes.
