Technical Officer – ICT Support (Windows 11 Rollout) Brisbane CBD (On-site) 6-Month Contract $50.21/hr Super We’re working with a major Government Department who are seeking a Technical Officer to support a large-scale Windows 11 upgrade program within a complex ICT environment. This is a hands-on, on-site role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth device upgrades, resolving technical issues, and supporting end users through the transition. You’ll work across a broad Microsoft environment, contributing to business-critical systems while delivering high-quality support aligned with service management processes. Key Responsibilities Provide on-site and remote ICT support in a Microsoft environment Support Windows 11 upgrades , including: Pre-upgrade device preparation and clean-up Post-upgrade remediation and troubleshooting Deliver Level 1 & 2 technical support via contact centre and onsite Configure, install, monitor and maintain ICT systems and environments Troubleshoot incidents and provide timely resolution within SLAs Escalate issues where required in line with processes Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles Provide basic end-user training and guidance Work within ITSM frameworks (ITIL aligned) About You Experience supporting enterprise ICT environments (Microsoft-focused) Strong Windows 10/11 support experience Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently Experience working within ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools Ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines Strong communication and customer service skills Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively Highly Regarded Exposure to Windows 11 deployment / upgrade projects Understanding of ITIL processes Driver’s licence (desirable) Flexibility to travel between sites if required Brisbane applicants only Ready to apply?
