ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking an experienced Inventory & Compliance Manager to elevate our capability across inventory control whilst adhering to legislative, security, and operational compliance in a high volume, luxury goods, travel retail business. Working alongside our Supply Chain Manager and Logistics Supervisor and leading a team of national inventory/compliance specialists, you’ll be the driving force behind accuracy, structure, and smarter decision-making across the retail supply chain. Our ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive experience in retail operations, inventory, loss prevention, and compliance, bringing a proactive and investigative approach to managing risk and solving problems. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who enjoys creating order from complexity. You’ll take full ownership of inventory integrity while developing the frameworks that enable the business to plan with confidence. YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE In conjunction with Supply Chain Manager, owning the end-to-end inventory position across all warehouses - stock on hand, in transit, and committed - creating a single, trusted source of truth Development and review of SOP’s to further strengthen process and update procedures in alignment with Australian Border Force and Aviation Security regulations Oversee compliance with Customs, Excise, and Aviation Security requirements & maintain relationships with the Australian Border Force, airport authorities, and other regulatory bodies Driving inventory accuracy and control , including development and rollout of new SOP, cycle count programs, discrepancy management, and alignment between ERP data and physical stock Delivering insightful reporting and dashboards on inventory management, and performance for key stakeholders Supporting a structured S&OP-style process , improving alignment across planning, logistics, sales, and finance ABOUT YOU You’re someone who sees gaps, asks questions, and builds better ways of working. You’re comfortable operating across teams and influencing outcomes through data and insight. Demonstrated knowledge & experience of retail operations, loss prevention or compliance Experience in inventory management, supply chain planning, or demand planning Strong analytical capability with the ability to turn data into clear actions Solid understanding of ERP systems and inventory control processes A proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge and improve existing practices Excellent investigative, analytical, and communication skills If you’re looking for a role where you can take ownership, drive improvement, and leave a lasting impact - this is it.
