About the job The Lung Co is looking for a passionate respiratory physiotherapist to join our growing team. We are a community-based respiratory physiotherapy service dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based and patient centred care. We support individuals with complex and chronic respiratory conditions across clinic, home and telehealth settings, with a strong focus on continuity of care beyond hospital discharge. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a casual position (approximately. 6 hours / week initially) from May to August 2026, with the opportunity to increase hours and continue beyond this period as caseload grows. LOCATION: Hybrid role including: Primary Clinic: The Lung Co, 2/25 Discovery Drive, North Lakes Home visits within a 30-minute radius of the clinic Opportunity to work from home for non-face to face services (e.g: Telehealth, documentation) REMUNERATION: Pay rate dependent on experience and to be discussed openly. Casual loading will be applied in line with the Health Professionals & Support Services Award (MA000027). MAIN DUTIES & RESPOSIBILITIES Conduct comprehensive respiratory assessments and develop tailored management plans Deliver evidence-based respiratory physiotherapy interventions, including: Airway Clearance Techniques Breathlessness Management Respiratory Muscle Training Lung Volume Recruitment and Cough Augmentation Pulmonary Rehabilitation Prescribe, trial, and provide education on respiratory equipment and devices Provide education and training to clients, families, and support workers to optimise care at home and in the community Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including GPs, Specialists, and Allied Health Professionals Contribute to clinical documentation and reports (including NDIS adn other funding bodies as required) Support continuty of care across clinic, home and telehealth settings Maintain a clean and safe workplace and adhere to workplace health and safety policies and procedures. ABOUT YOU You are a physiotherapist who values thoughtful high-quality care and enjoys working closely with people over time. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Essential: AHPRA Registered Physiotherapist Minimum 3 years’ experience in respiratory physiotherapy Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle Full working rights in Australia Experience in the following is highly regarded: Complex respiratory and / or neuromuscular conditions ( e.g: Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, spinal and brain injury, Bronchiectasis, COPD and Cystic Fibrosis).
