You’ll lead a small team while working closely with senior management on both operational and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation of monthly reporting packs and internal management reports Analyse financial results and investigate key variances Review and manage general ledger activity across the finance team Support half-year and year-end reporting, including statutory requirements Oversee tax workbooks and compliance processes Maintain and enhance internal controls, systems, and financial processes Partner with internal and external auditors, managing deliverables and timelines Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Assist with compliance reporting (including regulatory and corporate requirements) Contribute to M&A activity, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration Support business decision-making through financial modelling, business cases, and contract analysis About You CA / CPA qualified with a relevant tertiary accounting degree Background in Big 4 / mid-tier or strong chartered experience, ideally with audit exposure Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS / AASB standards Experience in group reporting, financial control, or similar environments Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capability Systems experience (e.g. D365, Workday Adaptive) advantageous but not essential Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities Please apply or reach out to Jeff Harvey on jharvey@sharpandcarter.com.au
