The Role Reporting to the CEO, you will be a key member of the executive team, leading Finance and IT whilst contributing to strategy and long-term growth. As CFO, key responsibilities include: Partnering with the CEO and Board on strategy, planning, and performance Oversight and leadership across budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting Overseeing risk, compliance, tax, and audit Supporting commercial operations across a national event calendar Involvement in commercial negotiations, revenue optimisation, partnership evaluations, and pricing Driving process improvements, cost efficiencies, and leveraging AI to enhance automation, insights, and decision-making Leading and developing a high-performing finance team Work with the Systems and Network Engineer to oversee the development and execution of the company’s IT strategy Driving financial transparency and performance accountability across the organisation Your Background To be considered for this CFO opportunity, you will meet the following criteria: Professionally qualified with proven senior finance leadership experience in a medium to large-sized, fast-paced enterprise Proven commercial acumen along with experience in multi-revenue environments Track record of partnering at the Executive / Board level Relevant industry experience – e.g. entertainment, media, sport or event-driven environments Experience working in a business where revenue is influenced by rights, audience monetisation, sponsorship, advertising or strategic partnerships will be highly regarded Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level, with a willingness to remain hands-on when required Proven analytical, strategic, and communication skills to balance financial stability with innovation and growth in a rapidly evolving environment High emotional intelligence with a proven ability to build trusted relationships across a broad range of stakeholders, including executives, board members, operational leaders, and external partners If you are keen to apply for this Chief Financial Officer role, please contact David Landau at Richard Lloyd on , quoting reference 9896 or click on 'apply now' below.
