Care to join the team? GenesisCare is currently seeking an experienced Employee and Industrial Relations Advisor to join our People and Culture Team. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with the People & Culture function and the wider business to provide pragmatic, commercially focused employee and industrial relations guidance. The role supports a broad range of ER/IR activities, including enterprise bargaining and the management of complex employee relations matters, drawing on strong technical expertise to deliver effective and best‑practice outcomes. This is a high‑impact advisory role with significant accountability and influence. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, owning your portfolio of work and acting as a trusted ER/IR subject matter expert across the organisation. More specifically you will: Providing expert employee and industrial relations advice to People & Culture and business stakeholders across a range of workplace issues. Supporting and contributing to enterprise bargaining activities, including preparation, negotiations and implementation of enterprise agreements. Maintaining strong, current knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments and relevant ER/IR trends to support informed decision‑making and mitigate legal and reputational risk. Managing and advising on complex and sensitive matters, including interpretation of awards and agreements, application of terms and conditions, employment disputes and claims. Acting as an escalation point within People & Culture for specialised ER/IR advice and complex case management matters. Contributing to the development, review and maintenance of ER/IR policies, frameworks, templates and employment documentation to support consistent and compliant practices. We’d love to hear from those that have: 5 years’ experience in an employee and industrial relations role, providing specialist ER/IR advice within a complex or regulated environment. Demonstrated experience supporting or leading elements of enterprise bargaining, including negotiations and implementation activities. Solid experience managing complex ER cases, including employment disputes and claims, and involvement with the Fair Work Commission or similar tribunals. The ability to manage multiple matters concurrently, prioritise effectively and work confidently in a fast‑paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels. A collaborative, professional approach with a strong focus on building trusted relationships. High levels of discretion, integrity and confidentiality.
