Cotton Tree Beach Bar, located at Shop 2, Essence, 13-15 The Esplanade, Maroochydore QLD 4558, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu requirements and quality standards Assist in menu planning and estimating food and labour costs Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and high quality Ensure all food is prepared and stored in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to maintain standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen work areas and equipment Assist with stock control, ordering supplies, and minimising food wastage Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations About you: At least 1 year of relevant work experience as a Chef Good knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene regulations Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen environment Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality standards Job Type: Permanent/Full-time Salary: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per annum.
