In this role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality strategic and operational HR services to TIQ's domestic workforce while leading and developing a small team of HR professionals. We are seeking an experienced HR professional to lead the delivery of strategic and operational HR services to TIQ's domestic workforce. In this role, you will lead a small team of HR professionals while partnering with leaders to provide expert advice on complex people matters including workplace conflict, performance management, complaints and injury/illness cases. You will contribute to workforce planning and strategic HR initiatives, identify emerging workforce risks and trends, and provide practical solutions aligned with organisational priorities and legislation. The role also supports the development of HR policies, programs and initiatives that strengthen organisational capability and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong HR expertise, experience managing complex cases, excellent stakeholder engagement skills and demonstrated leadership capability. Experience within the Queensland Public Sector will be highly regarded. To Succeed In This Role, You Will Bring Strong HR expertise with demonstrated experience providing advice across a broad range of HR matters and sound knowledge of HR legislation, directives and best practice frameworks (experience within the Queensland Public Sector will be highly regarded). Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation. Extensive experience managing complex HR cases, including workplace conflict, performance issues, complaints and injury/illness matters. Leadership experience, with the ability to guide, support and develop HR professionals to deliver high-quality outcomes. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance organisational needs while maintaining positive relationships.
