Your New RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for the full endtoend weekly payroll cycle, ensuring all employee data, approvals, and transactions are processed accurately and within strict deadlines. This is a handson, highvolume environment where your ability to work confidently under pressure will be highly valued. Key responsibilities include: Processing weekly endtoend payroll nationally, ensuring all time & attendance data is approved, accurate and ready for upload. Maintaining a high level of accuracy while processing payroll transactions, adjustments, leave, and termination calculations. Completing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual payroll reporting for Payroll, Finance and HR teams. Preparing and submitting monthly superannuation, child support, union fees and workplace giving contributions. Reconciling WorkCover payments and supporting workers compensation administration. Responding promptly to payroll queries from managers and employees. Ensuring all payroll practices comply with legislation, internal policies, awards and audit requirements. Maintaining employee records across payroll and HRIS systems. Supporting sites with time & attendance systems and general payroll administration. Assisting with endofyear processing, including reconciliations and income statements. What You'll Need to SucceedWe are looking for a selfmotivated, proactive Payroll Officer with strong processing capability and a passion for accuracy.To be successful, you will have: 23 years experience in payroll processing, preferably in a highvolume or multisite environment. Strong understanding of payroll legislation, superannuation, and compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to process large volumes quickly and accurately. Strong problemsolving skills and confidence in responding to payroll enquiries. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and operate autonomously. High level proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, plus solid experience with payroll systems Micropay and ELM preferred. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. A strong work ethic, confidentiality, and a professional approach.
