Trades & Services Electrician Sydney Permanent / Full Time 2/4/2026 Based in North Sydney Must be Qualified Electrician Office Role with some travel Salary $130k - $140k Are you a hands-on solar professional who knows the industry inside out and enjoys working directly with installers to lift standards and solve real-world challenges? We’re looking for a strong Solar Technical Specialist to support installer capability, compliance, and field quality across NSW, ACT, and QLD. This is a practical, field-facing role where you’ll work closely with installers to improve performance, reduce rework, and ensure installations meet the highest standards. About the Role In this role, you’ll be the technical backbone of our installer network—supporting, training, and guiding installers to deliver quality and compliant solar and battery systems. Key Responsibilities Onboard and support new installers Provide technical guidance to installers on system design, install methodology, commissioning, and site-specific issues. Conduct site visits, technical audits, and quality inspections to identify issues early and ensure installations meet standards Deliver engaging, hands-on technical training sessions Provide day-to-day technical support to installers Ensure compliance with CEC standards and DNSP requirements Identify trends, reduce rework, and improve installer capability Build strong, trusted relationships with installers and internal teams What You’ll Bring 3 years’ experience in residential solar Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems, batteries, and grid connection Solid understanding of CEC requirements and DNSP processes Experience as an installer OR in training/managing installers NSW Electrical Licence (essential) Current solar and battery SAA accreditation A practical, solutions-focused mindset Strong communication skills and the ability to influence in the field Calm, confident, and capable under pressure Why Join Us?
