About the role We are seeking an experienced Regional Project Manager to play a critical role in project delivery across multiple fuel terminals within a defined geographic region. This role acts as the key interface between Operations, Engineering, and our delivery partners, ensuring projects are defined, assured and executed safely, efficiently, and in line with technical, operational and commercial requirements. You’ll bring a proactive, collaborative approach and strong engineering judgement to help drive asset reliability, operational excellence, and capital project value from concept through to delivery. Key Responsibilities Project Development & Support Partner with terminal operations teams to develop and deliver projects that improve safety, reliability and efficiency Act as the interface between site teams and delivery partner engineering and execution functions Provide assurance across sustaining capital, maintenance and commercial growth projects Participate in peer reviews, HAZOPs, design validation and commissioning activities Manage project approvals through ATOM’s Management of Change (MoC) process Keep Operations Leaders informed of project scope, progress and variations Project Scoping & Definition Lead development of clear, fit-for-purpose project scopes aligned to business strategy Work closely with operations, maintenance, HSE and engineering teams to define requirements and deliverables Review delivery partner estimates, schedules and designs from an assurance perspective Value Assurance & Compliance Conduct feasibility reviews, risk assessments and value assurance checks Support cost control, procurement strategy and contractor selection Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and ATOM engineering standards Provide regional oversight to identify conflicts, synergies or risks across the project portfolio About You You are a confident and pragmatic project professional who enjoys working across sites and disciplines. You’re comfortable challenging contractors, balancing stakeholder expectations, and navigating the realities of operating within an aging asset base. You will bring in depth experience in engineering or project delivery (fuel terminals, oil & gas, infrastructure or industrial environments) along with an understanding of working within live operational environments Strong capability in project scoping, planning and stakeholder engagement, an understanding of capital project lifecycles, risk management and regulatory compliance and a high attention to detail with strong commercial awareness. The role will be overseeing projects across multiple sites and interstate travel will be required. ATOM offers a hybrid working model with ability to work from home two days per week.
