We are seeking experienced Electrical Maintenance Technicians and HVAC / Refrigeration Technicians to deliver preventative and reactive maintenance across a diverse portfolio of commercial and retail facilities. Projects include work across petroleum service stations, supermarkets, banks, and government buildings . These roles focus on ensuring all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with Australian Standards and WHS requirements. You will be working across multiple sites, carrying out scheduled maintenance, inspections, testing, and minor corrective works. Key Responsibilities Electrical (where applicable): Perform preventative and reactive electrical maintenance Inspect and maintain switchboards, distribution boards, lighting, and power circuits Test and maintain emergency lighting systems and RCDs Conduct testing & tagging and electrical safety inspections Fault finding and minor repairs HVAC / Refrigeration (where applicable): Perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems Service air conditioning units (split, multi-split, packaged systems) Maintain commercial refrigeration and ventilation systems Conduct temperature, airflow, and performance testing Identify faults and recommend corrective actions General Responsibilities: Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards and WHS regulations Complete service reports, compliance documentation, and testing records Work across multiple sites independently Maintain strong communication with clients and site managers Essential Requirements Electrical Technicians: Current Australian Electrical Licence HVAC / Refrigeration Technicians: Relevant Trade Qualification ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence For All Applicants: White Card Current Driver's Licence Experience in commercial and/or retail maintenance Strong understanding of preventative maintenance programs Ability to work independently Police Check Compliance & Standards Work must comply with (but not limited to): AS/NZS 3000 - Electrical Installations AS/NZS 3019 - Periodic Verification AS/NZS 3760 - Testing & Tagging AS/NZS 2293 - Emergency Lighting AS/NZS 3666 - Air & Water Systems AS/NZS 5149 / AS 1677 - Refrigeration Systems WHS Act & Regulations Desirable (Not Essential) Emergency lighting accreditation LVR / CPR Working at Heights / EWP Experience in petroleum or hazardous area environments Government or critical infrastructure experience WPCG (petroleum industry experience) Why Join Us Full time position New company car Work across a variety of commercial sites Opportunity to work with major clients Supportive team environment Apply Now If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, email your resume to: scottc@harrisonbarratt.com.au
