Process Engineer About the Role Join our Queensland Industrial team as a Process Engineer, contributing to innovative resources and energy projects. You will support process design, safety assessments, and risk management while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Support process design, safety assessments, and risk management activities for resources and energy projects. Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, sharing knowledge and contributing to project delivery. Develop and review process engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, specifications, and process safety documentation. Undertake routine engineering tasks independently and assist with complex design activities under supervision. Identify and resolve design gaps across drawings, schematics, 3D models, and material requisitions. Ensure safe, sustainable, and compliant engineering outcomes by applying relevant standards and design practices. Support project delivery phases from concept selection, feasibility, and FEED through detailed design, construction, and commissioning. Engage with diverse teams across geographies and markets to solve complex challenges. What You’ll Bring Minimum 3 years of process engineering experience in hydrocarbons, power, resources, or green energy projects. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills applied to process engineering. Developing skills in creative problem solving and data analysis to support design and technical decisions. Experience contributing to design packages with increasing independence and accountability. Proficiency in producing technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation with attention to detail. Good understanding of safety in design principles and practical application of engineering standards. Ability to work independently on tasks while effectively contributing to wider project teams. Familiarity with process modelling tools such as HYSYS, UniSim, and Fluid Flow. Advantageous experience in upstream processing facilities, flow assurance, and surge analysis tools (AFT, Bently, PipeSim). Progressing towards relevant professional certification and registration, with a commitment to ongoing technical development. Why Join Us?
