Represent the RBA and drive engagement with industry business leaders to help inform economic policy Leadership of the Perth office, including coaching and developing a team of highly capable economists 9-month parental leave cover opportunity The Role The Regional Industry Analysis (RIA) liaison program provides the Bank with invaluable insights into the experience and challenges facing Australian businesses and provides a significant contribution to monetary policy advice and improving our understanding of the economy. The team interviews executives at around 800 Australian firms and other important organisations and also works closely with other sections in Economic Group. The primary purpose of the role is to lead liaisons, grow the range of external contacts to support the effectiveness of the Bank’s liaison program, lead analysis that supports monetary policy advice and lead other staff in the Perth Office to reach their potential.
