Position Due to continued growth, an opportunity is available for a Fire Technician to join the Brisbane team. This role will see you working across a range of client sites, carrying out servicing and maintenance of portable fire equipment. Responsibilities will include: Inspection, testing, and servicing of portable fire extinguishers and hose reels. Ensuring all equipment meets Australian standards and compliance requirements. Managing a run of client sites across the Brisbane region. Maintaining accurate service records using digital platforms. Providing professional and reliable customer service on-site. Identifying defects and recommending corrective actions where required. Candidate The ideal candidate will have experience within the fire protection industry, particularly with portable equipment. You will be reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship. The key attributes of an ideal candidate would include: Previous experience in the fire protection industry. QBCC Portables Licence (highly regarded). Certificate II in Fire Protection (or relevant experience). Strong knowledge of servicing portable fire equipment. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and customer service skills. Current QLD manual driver's licence. Experience with systems such as Uptick (advantageous).
