The Company My client is a Global Freight Forwarder with a standout brand and service across the world. Due to continuous growth & expansion they are looking to add a Senior Import Operations Specialist to the team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will work in a team with a strong focus on driving key accounts, and process & compliance excellence. The Role Your main responsibilities will include: QLD Import Operations (LCL and AIR, with eventual cross-training in other departments), coordinating end-to-end solutions for Key Customers (including bookings, documentation, cartage, customs reporting, job invoicing). Liaising with Customers, Carriers, Service Providers, and Overseas Partners. Ensuring ongoing Customer satisfaction through effective and efficient responses to customer inquiries, issues, and concerns. Establishing and maintaining a strong rapport with customers and service providers. Monitoring key operational activities to ensure efficient completion of import duties. Identifying and implementing changes to support continual improvement, business growth and the development of best practice SOP. Prior experience using CargoWise (CW1) would be useful Your Experience 3-5 years experience in a similar role in freight forwarding Strong organisation and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Clear, confident communicator with stakeholder management skills An attitude to listen, learn, and develop your career If you are interested please apply immediately.
