The Company: Well-established engineering and manufacturing business on the Northern Beaches is looking for a Storeperson to support the day-to-day flow of stock, parts, and materials across the business. This company designs and builds its own equipment, which is used within the defence, rail, building, and construction industries. They employ 75 across Australia and are growing. The Job & You: This is not just forklift and picking work. You’ll work closely with Production, Engineering, Sales, and Suppliers, helping keep stock accurate, parts organised, and projects moving. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and coordinate day-to-day stock counts across the business. Carry out stock takes and help improve inventory processes. Pick and arrange parts for projects and production requirements. Manage inventory and transactions through an ERP / MRP system similar to SAP - on-the-job training. Work closely with Production Management, Engineering, Sales, and Suppliers. Assist with purchasing and ensuring parts are available when needed. Support quality assurance and quality control for incoming and stored parts - on-the-job training. Focus on efficiency, safety, and profitability across stores and inventory activities What you'll need & what's in it for you Some experience in inventory, stores, or warehouse coordination. Strong computer literacy and confidence using inventory / ERP systems is desirable. A decent role for someone with strong communication skills and the ability to learn.
