Melbourne Culinary Group located in Melbourne VIC 3000 is looking for a Chef to join their team. The right candidate will be responsible for: The right candidate will be responsible for: Assist cooks and chef with preparations; Demonstrate various cooking techniques; Minimise wastage; Train new cooks and chefs on platings and cooking procedures; Plan and change menus with restaurant manager; Ensure health and safety procedures are followed; Supervise kitchen staff; Deal with waiters and other members; Cook, slice and prepare ingredients, such as meat, fish and vegetables; Ensure all ingredients are properly stored and labeled; Manage operations of the kitchen, including rostering and purchasing; About you: At least 1 year of experience as a Chef; Strong cooking and management skills; Ability to manage and supervise team and orders; Strong creativity and ability to assist cooks and Chefs throughout the service; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Job type: Permanent/full-time Salary: $80,000 - $90,000
