Play a lead role in a friendly high achieving team. Hybrid / Flexibility. We have a (Permanent) Senior Solution Architect role available. You will be responsible to re-architect the claims system for the next generation. You will design Event Based / Streaming Based Systems in Azure Cloud. You will work with the business to make valuable technology change. You will define the strategy and build the roadmap You will channel solution design with an Application / Solution Architecture focus. Responsibilities : Define and own the target architecture for the claims domain , establishing patterns, standards, and guardrails for event-driven, cloud-native systems. Develop and maintain domain reference architectures that support scalability, resilience, and real-time processing . Lead the progressive modernisation of legacy/core claims systems, applying patterns such as strangler fig and anti-corruption layers to safely decouple capabilities. Establish event-first architecture principles , including domain event design, schema standards, and versioning practices. Define and evolve bounded contexts across the claims lifecycle (e.g. FNOL, assessment, payments, fraud), ensuring clear ownership and separation of concerns. Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance requirements while enabling high-throughput, loosely coupled systems . Guide engineering teams in applying event-driven, domain-oriented patterns , ensuring consistent and high-quality implementation. Identify and reduce architectural risks, dependencies, and technical debt , particularly those linked to legacy core system constraints. Advocate modern practices around event streaming, identity, data that are leveraged effectively.
