We currently offer: Traineeships & Apprenticeships Pre-Employment Programs Mentoring The RISE Project - Rebuilding your Identity and Strength for Employment REAL - Reconnection, Employment and Learning Journey to Success - School programs The Role: We are actively looking for a Female mentor to join our REAL team to support First Nations women exiting incarceration in Western Sydney. You'll provide culturally safe support upto 6-months pre-release and continue supporting 12-months post-release with a strong focus on reconnection to community, culture and employment. This is a full-time contract until June 30, 2030, and will be based out of our Penrith office Monday to Friday. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Workshop & program facilitation Cultural activities Administrations tasks Compliance management Community engagement Mentoring of First Nations people exiting incarceration Case management Employer engagement Service referrals & advocacy Stakeholder engagement The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company. Knowledge & Experience: Relevant experience in similar programs or industry. Connection to the First Nations community and culture Knowledge and understanding of the Justice system and it's impact on First Nations communities. Skills & Competencies: Customer service focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels - written, phone and face to face. Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely , varying communication style depending upon the audience. Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally. Commerciality: ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner. Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members. Time management/organisation : accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given, and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner. Strong administrative skills Ability to manage conflict Criteria: Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander A valid/current Australian Driver's License is required to complete the roles and responsibilities of this position. A clear criminal history is required to complete the roles and responsibilities of this position.
