Opportunity to join an established, experienced team as a subject matter expert in property transactions. 6-10 years’ PQE Property role in the energy sector Established business with large asset portfolio About our client Our client is a leading energy business with a large portfolio of wind, solar, battery storage and energy infrastructure assets. About the role Reporting to the General Counsel, you will support the business with the property and land access aspects of energy projects. Your responsibilities will include: Advising on, drafting and negotiating land tenure and access documents such as easements, options, licences and leases. Advising on land access disputes and property disputes Managing the FIRB aspects of property transactions. Working with specialist external counsel on environment and planning, native title and indigenous cultural heritage matters. You will be part of an established team of senior lawyers and the team’s subject matter expert in property matters. About you You will have 6-10 years’ PQE and experience in property transactions. Experience advising clients in the energy and resources sector would be an advantage. Strong communication skills will allow you to work well with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including landholders’ legal representatives. Due to the nature of the role, good time and project management skills are required.
