We currently have an opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join our Workplace team in Sydney to provide additional support to the administrative team supporting multiple partners. About the team and the work Reporting to the Practice Group Coordinator, you will be joining a collaborative team and working directly with additional administrative team members, with access to robust processes and excellent software systems. Your role will be to support a Workplace practice in Sydney consisting of 4 partners and a team of 20 lawyers who act for both private and public sector clients in relation to workplace health and safety incidents, employment and industrial relations matters, workplace and incident investigations, prosecution proceedings, and litigation matters. The duties for this role will include client management, client reporting, file management including opening and closing files, coordinating meetings and diaries, end of month billing, expense claims, court filing, preparation and collation of court documents and briefs to counsel, drafting correspondence and other varied administrative tasks. Being reliable, organised, diligent and having excellent communication skills are essential to this role. This role is full-time, 8.30am – 5pm, in our Sydney office with full training provided.
