ConsultANZ is looking for a Finance Manager to join a building and construction contractor in Sydney. The role involves managing finance, accounting, and office administration, preparing financial reports, coordinating with teams and stakeholders, and ensuring financial performance and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, and payroll Prepare month-end accounts and financial reports Monitor cash flow, working capital, and budgeting Support forecasting, financial planning, and reporting to the parent company Liaise with external accountants, auditors, banks, and insurers Manage money collection, credit card reconciliation, and creditor accounts Handle compliance tasks including ABS submissions and ICare/ICIRT reviews Coordinate HR and IT tasks with outsourced providers Prepare staff contracts and assist with onboarding Manage company insurance, bank guarantees, builder licence, and vehicle fleet Supervise two accounts/admin staff members and support process improvements Requirements: 5 years’ experience in a finance or accounting management role Construction industry experience highly desirable Strong financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management skills Strong organisational and leadership skills Benefits: Competitive salary: $110K–$130K base super (negotiable depending on experience) Permanent full-time role with a stable construction company Opportunity to work closely with senior management APPLY NOW If you are interested, please email claire.yang@consultanz.com.au to learn more about this opportunity.
