About this role As an Executive Assistant in the Tax team, you will play a key role in the effective day-to-day operations of the team and provide intuitive support, displaying a high level of initiative, multi-tasking and adapting quickly to last-minute change. You will proactively anticipate the needs of your stakeholders before and as they arise. Please note that this is a maximum term contract opportunity for 6 months. Key responsibilities Provide high‑level administrative support to four Partners and the broader Tax team Manage inboxes, calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination Process Partner expenses in Concur Organise team training sessions, internal meetings, and client or team events Preparation and formatting of documents and correspondence in line with Grant Thornton brand guidelines Client onboarding through CERA Manage and maintain databases and systems, including regular updates in Salesforce CRM Support monthly billing processes Provide general administrative and ad hoc support as required Skills and experience Previous experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant within a corporate or professional services environment Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a positive approach to teamwork and the ability to collaborate with and manage expectations of stakeholders at all levels Highly organised, with the ability to multi‑task and work effectively under pressure High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word If you’re interested in this role but don’t feel that you match every single one of our requirements, we would still love to hear from you and explore the unique skillset and attributes that you can bring to the team.
