About the job Change Lead - Higher Education Transformation Sydney | 12-Month Contract | $1,200/day (incl. super) We are partnering with a leading Higher Education institution to recruit an experienced Change Lead for a major business transformation program focused on enhancing student learning and the overall student experience. This is a highly strategic role, working at the forefront of a complex, enterprise-wide initiative that will shape how education is delivered and experienced. The Role As the Change Lead, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end change strategy and delivery across a large-scale transformation program. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, academic leaders, and program teams to ensure successful adoption and long-term sustainability of change initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of the overarching change strategy across the program Partner with senior executives, faculty leaders, and key stakeholders to drive alignment and engagement Conduct change impact and readiness assessments across diverse stakeholder groups Design and deliver targeted communication, engagement, and adoption strategies Oversee business readiness activities, ensuring smooth transition into new ways of working Mentor and guide change managers and project teams across multiple workstreams About You Proven experience as a Change Lead on large-scale, enterprise transformation programs Mandatory experience within Higher Education (universities or equivalent institutions) Strong track record delivering change across student-focused or academic transformation initiatives Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with experience influencing at executive and faculty level Deep expertise in change frameworks (e.g. PROSCI, ADKAR) and end-to-end change delivery Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in delivery
