You'll lead the design of complex user journeys, establish best practice frameworks, and influence product strategy across the organization. This role goes beyond execution—you'll shape how we work, mentor the team, and ensure our products are intuitive, accessible, and delightful. This is a 12 month maximum term role. Key Responsibilities Create user flows and wireframes Conduct user research and testing Design intuitive user interfaces Maintain design system and documentation Ensure accessibility standards Collaborate with product and engineering teams Create interactive prototypes Analyze user feedback and metrics Lead design reviews and presentations Stay updated with design trends Optimize for mobile and desktop experiences Implement user-centered design principles Contribute to product strategy Handle multiple projects simultaneously Document design decisions and rationale Your Experience 6-8 years of professional product design experience, preferably in fintech, startups, or scaleups Mastery of design tools (Figma expert) with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence senior stakeholders Deep expertise in user research, information architecture, interaction design, and design systems Strong facilitation skills—you can align diverse perspectives and drive decisions Experience establishing design standards and elevating craft across teams Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to executives Understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and technical constraints Agile mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience) Why Ubank?
