Their 2019 VISION is to have their own in-house specialist costs lawyer. YOUR ROLE In this RARE BLUE-MOON VIP opportunity, you will be the firm’s SOLE costs lawyer. Reporting to the Managing Partner, you will love having your OWN TERRITORY taking 100% ownership of all matters relating to costs within the firm including: Reviewing all the firm’s bills; Preparation of Bill of Costs (Solicitor/Client and Party/Party) and notices of objections; Negotiating and recovery of party/party costs; Preparation of Affidavits in Support of Applications for Security of Costs, Gross Lump Sum Costs Orders and Independent Assessments Providing expert costs evidence in class actions; Providing advocacy/dispute resolution services in respect of costs disputes; Advising/training on costs disclosure, costs agreements and costs disputes and large-scale litigation.
