The role: Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Consultant - Clinical Informatics, this role will work directly with the Metro North Hospital Health Service ieMR Program, Clinical Informatics teams, Digital Health and Business Solutions and Office of the Chief Clinical Information Officer (OCCIO) . Key responsibilities includ e:Fulfill the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses, and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) (2015) – Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 6 and the Queensland Health commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practic e.Deliver expert clinical training, coaching, and guidance on digital applications and associated workflows to support the successful implementation of the ieMR and related system s.Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning activities/opportunities for self and other s.Contribute to performance and development processes for yourself and others, providing support to strengthen capability and professional growt h.Provide and update education resources for staff, recipients of healthcare services, carers and others in consultatio n.Assist to promote a learning culture by encouraging reflection and professional development, providing clinical teaching, in-service education, and assisting/supporting others to maintain portfolios/records of learnin g.Provide support, guidance, mentoring, preceptorship, role modelling and promote cooperation and collaborative teamwor k.Responsible for coordination of portfolios and providing professional advic e.Apply organisational policies and guidelines in line with professional standards by maintaining up to date knowledge and contributing to policy review processe s.Provide clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education and researc h.Adhere to the quality and safety standards and contribute to or participate in the continuous improvement of clinical outcome s.Adhere to established guidelines, protocols, procedures, standards and systems of work as set by the organisatio n. (SFIA Skill: ETMG: Level 5, TMCR: Level 4)Whilst not mandatory, experience in the provision of classroom-based training using a range of instructional techniques is highly desirable.
