Job Description As Guzman y Gomez continues to grow, we are looking for a result driven Junior Development Manager to join our high performing Real Estate team. The Development Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our growth strategy and ensuring the success of new restaurant projects. What you can expect in the role: Collaborate closely with the Head of Development VIC to understand and execute the real estate growth strategy in your designated area. Building a robust pipeline of potential sites, proactively identifying, and pursuing the best locations while connecting with key stakeholders to secure prime sites. Provide regular updates to the Head of Development VIC of the progress of securing new restaurant locations and offering marketing insights that may impact our growth strategy. Ensure the number of restaurant openings in your designated area aligns with business targets, sales performance, and financial budgets. Work closely with construction managers and stakeholders to ensure new restaurant opening dates are met through proactive risk mitigation. You’ll enjoy this role if you have: A bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, or a related field 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role in real estate development, with a focus on site identification, deal negotiation, and approvals management Strong understanding of market dynamics and trends QSR and town planning experience would be beneficial Legal documentation and resolution skills Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams including Construction Project Manager and Design Manager and lead the project from deal approval to restaurant opening.
