This highly regarded workshop provides reliable, efficient, and high-quality motor repair services, including tune-ups, engine issues, replacements, transmission service, and more. The workshop enjoys a full order book, and our client seeks a well experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join the team. The workshop offers ongoing training and development, so this employer will enable you to stay on top of the trade. Tenure - The role is full-time and ongoing. Salary - An attractive salary package in the range $75k to $85k plus superannuation per annum. Location- Truganina VIC Responsibilities include: Provide first rate servicing and repairs to a wide range of vehicles. Identify mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles using diagnostic equipment. Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes tyre rotations and brake inspections, as well as more complex repairs like engine rebuilds, transmission overhauls and replacing worn or damaged parts. Adhere to safety standards, following safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper disposal of hazardous materials and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). You should be able to demonstrate the following attributes and strengths to be considered: Highly relevant trade qualifications (Certificate IV or agreed equivalent) At least 1 years post-training professional experience, preferably more. Demonstrated passion towards the automotive industry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Solid references. A can-do attitude and team spirit. Great time management skills.
