Supervise the inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair across a variety of fleet vehicles (prime movers, rigids, trailers). Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system faults. Plan, prioritize, and allocate daily tasks to mechanics and service technicians. Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and inventory of spare parts. Ensure accurate completion of maintenance and repair documentation Lead, mentor, and supervise workshop employees. Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture. What You’ll Bring: Advanced mechanical knowledge coupled with a Mechanical Trade Qualification. Experience in leading mechanical teams, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. Ability to motivate, mentor and develop team members. Builds a positive, inclusive, high performance team culture. Strong time management and prioritisation skills. Clear and confident communication skills. HR and FL licence preferred.
