They don't have billable targets and are more focused on results and the building of client relationships. Due to growth and a strong pipeline of work, an opportunity has arisen for a bright and talented commercial litigator with at least 2 years post admission experience. The Opportunity This opportunity will see you working closely with the partner and their clients on a broad range of matters from contractual disputes to IP disputes to consumer law disputes as well as building and insolvency related disputes. This is a client facing role and the partner is looking for some-one who is not only a strong technical lawyer but also has the confidence to build rapport with a broad range of clients from media companies to telco companies to major property developers. The Role & About You You’ll have 2 years plus pae (to Senior Associate level) and you actually enjoy litigation. You will: Run files from start to finish—we don’t believe in hiding associates in the basement. Work across complex commercial disputes, IP, media law, corporate and financial litigation. Draft pleadings and evidence in plain English. Appear in the NSW and Federal Courts. Collaborate with a team that values commercial awareness and the ability to think outside the box.
