About the role: The Supply Chain Lead - International Logistics supports the group’s inbound international freight functions by managing communication between internal Accent Group business departments, external suppliers and service providers, maintaining reporting and shipment information in operating system. This is a 12 month contract covering maternity leave and sits within the Supply Chain - Purchasing and International Logistics team with two direct reports. The responsibilities will include: Support the day-to-day operations of the business’ international inbound logistics functions and in doing so demonstrate an interest in existing international logistics practices and trends. Build and maintain strong working relationships with freight forwarders and service providers, ensuring that regular reporting is received as required, issues are addressed and escalated. Action purchase order uploads from the Ap21 ERP to Yeeorder portal and vice versa, work closely with Yeeorder control tower team to resolve any errors and inaccuracies. Ensure accurate purchase order and shipment data is maintained in the Ap21 ERP by utilizing freight forwarder reporting, reports from Yeeorder portal and internal reporting tools. Utilise Yeeorder and Ap21 reporting tools to monitor progress of international inbound shipments, ensuing factories are handing over goods and freight forwarding partners are moving goods in line with KPIs. Maintain and distribute the excel inbound schedule and goods in transit reporting. Assist in reviewing and resolving any shipment variances from suppliers, request and ensure receipt of credits where required. Manage daily operational functions of BLP warehouse in conjunction with service provider. Support internal and external stakeholders by responding to and resolving queries, escalating issues where required. Support Purchasing and Wholesale Allocations team member’s workload when required. Act as the first point of escalation for queries and issues raised by members of the Purchasing and International Logistics team, members of internal Accent Group business departments, external suppliers and service providers. Maintain a continuous improvement attitude towards reporting functions and operational processes. Ensure all relevant legal, regulatory or internal process are followed within area of responsibility. Take responsibility for special projects and additional tasks as requested and where reasonable. To succeed in this role, you will have: Organization and time management skills. Excellent computer literacy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in the Microsoft Suit with intermediate to strong excel skills. Experience with Apparel 21 ERP applications is preferable. Maintain a relevant knowledge base of current international logistics trends and industry happenings which may fall outside of the immediate scope of this role. Relevant systems: Apparel 21 ERP.
