An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Mechanical Fitter or current Supervisor to step into a hybrid Site Supervisor role. Based in Malaga, this business specialises in manufacturing and maintaining sizers and conveyor systems for the mining industry. You’ll coordinate shutdown crews and plan work from head office, with site travel every six weeks for 5–10 days, leading teams of fitters and boilermakers while managing client relationships. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate personnel, materials, and equipment across projects • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders • Ensure performance targets and project deadlines are consistently met • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of trades to company standards Key Requirements: • Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Heavy Fabrication, or similar • Experience within the mining industry (maintenance of plant/equipment preferred) • Exposure to crushing, sizing, or screening equipment (advantageous) • Previous FIFO or site leadership experience • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities • Excellent communication and leadership capability • Willingness to travel to site for 5–10 day shutdowns • Rio Tinto inductions (highly regarded, not essential) With a strong focus on staff retention and long-term development, this is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career.
