Job Description Conduct thorough environmental and social impact assessments for energy and natural resources projects. Analyse data and prepare detailed reports to support project decision-making. Ensure compliance with relevant environmental policies, laws, and standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to address impact concerns and provide recommendations. Review project proposals and provide insights to minimise potential risks. Monitor ongoing projects to ensure adherence to approved impact assessment measures. Provide expert advice on sustainability initiatives and strategies. Support the development of guidelines and frameworks for impact assessments. The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Impact Assessor should have: Relevant qualifications in environmental science, natural resource management, or a related field. Strong knowledge of environmental policies and legislation in the public sector. Proven experience in conducting impact assessments for energy and natural resources projects. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. A proactive approach with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
