As growth accelerates, we are expanding our professional team and seeking a skilled Registered Surveyor to support strategic land management, development assessment, and capital delivery projects. About the Role As a Registered Surveyor , you will provide expert surveying services to support land development, infrastructure delivery, asset management, and regulatory functions across the LGA. You will work collaboratively with planners, engineers, asset teams, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant survey outputs. Key Responsibilities Undertake and certify cadastral surveys in accordance with NSW legislation. Prepare and review plans for subdivision, consolidation, easements, and road openings/closures. Conduct detail, level, set?out, and boundary surveys to support council projects. Provide specialist advice on land tenure, boundaries, and survey interpretation to internal teams and the community. Ensure all survey work meets regulatory standards, technical accuracy, and council requirements. Maintain accurate digital records and contribute to council’s GIS and asset information systems. Engage with developers, consultants, and residents in a professional and customer?focused manner. About You To be successful, you will bring: Current registration as a Registered Surveyor with the NSW Board of Surveying and Spatial Information (BOSSI). Demonstrated experience in cadastral and engineering surveying. Proficiency in survey software (e.g., 12D, AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and GNSS/Total Station technologies. Strong understanding of NSW planning legislation, Surveying and Spatial Information Act, and relevant standards. Excellent communication, problem?solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
