In this role you will be delivering safe, high quality and profitable joinery projects from conversion, through construction to hand over, finalisation and review and will ensure client satisfaction and financial results are maximised and that Euroline construction risk is minimised. Key Responsibilities: Understand and control the project contract including progress claims, variations, delays and extension of time in accordance with the Security of Payments Act. Negotiate and let purchase order & subcontracts against budget in accordance with accepted practices. Price, submit and negotiate variation claims that provide allowances and ideally improvements, to initial cost estimates and/or variations to the plan. Prepare and monitor the project program and ensure adequate preparation for project finalisation with a thorough project completion plan. Manage defect identification and rectification and project completion to result in clients who will be reference sites and engage Euroline again. Continually monitoring quality performance on your projects to ensure compatibility and continued effectiveness with the Quality Policy of the project. Actively manage and track project expenditure against budget to optimize financial outcome. Contribute to improving budgeted project margins through thorough preparation, planning and organisation to achieve and/or highlight project savings. Ensuring procedures and responsibilities are outlined in the Quality Management Guide are followed and met by all project staff. Update, prepare & balance Jobpac prior to the monthly roll including daily monitoring of invoices & purchase orders uploaded from your projects. Manage and monitor monthly Jobpac reports, project forecasts and cost forecasts. Skills & Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of legislation, rules, regulations and standards (e.g. industrial relations, HS&E, and Workcover) Well-developed ability to identify and control risks Understands head contracts and subcontracts Proficient joinery planning and programming skills Proven ability to deliver successful joinery programmes up to $5m Strong understanding of joinery techniques and the production process and constraints Strong project financial reporting skills Understand and provide input into tender process, including preliminary costings In-depth knowledge of key project performance measures, client and builder obligations Strong leadership capability to build and motivate teams to deliver high quality projects Education & Experience: Trade qualification in wood machining, shopfitting, Carpentry or Metal Industry. Previous experience in a manufacturing or joinery manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
