About the opportunity: We are supporting one of Australia's iconic industrial manufactures to secure a Senior Project Manager to deliver a significant capital project within a brownfield environment. This is a key leadership role where you'll be responsible for the full life cycle of the project from design, planning, procurement, construction, and commissioning. As the project lead, you'll liaise across all layers of the business and ensure all aspects of the project are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include: Lead planning, coordination, and execution of all project phases from design through to commissioning within a live operating (brownfield) environment. Define and manage project scope, work packages, procurement strategies, and contractor engagement. Maintain a relentless focus on Health, Safety & Environment performance. Establish and control project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and reporting frameworks. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to protect delivery outcomes. Manage multi-disciplinary engineering, procurement, and construction teams including contractor performance. Build strong relationships with operations, corporate stakeholders, contractors, and external consultants. Drive continuous improvement and foster a high-performance, “one team” project culture. Mentor and support team members to develop internal capability. About you: As a Senior Project Manager you'll demonstrate a track record in successful project delivery within a heavy industrial, mining or complex manufacturing and environments. Ideally, you'll offer: Degree qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical or related discipline preferred). 10–15 years’ experience delivering major industrial/manufacturing capital projects. Demonstrated success managing brownfield projects within operational facilities. Strong commitment to Health, Safety & Environmental leadership. Proven capability leading multi-disciplinary EPC/EPCM teams. Well-developed commercial acumen across scope, cost, schedule, contracts, and risk management. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, level headed, with the ability to influence at operational, corporate, and contractor levels.
