About the role We’re seeking a Senior Application Support Specialist (Collections & Enforcement) with deep, hands‑on experience across Oracle CC&B , enterprise integrations, and complex batch‑processing environments. In this role, you’ll support and optimise the mission‑critical platforms that power Transurban’s billing, collections, and enforcement ecosystem — including CC&B, PLATO, secure file transfers, and high‑volume batch schedules. This is a role for someone who loves diving into logs, scripts, integrations, and upstream/downstream data flows — someone who doesn’t just investigate issues, but solves them end‑to‑end. Day-to-day, you will: In this role, you’ll take technical ownership of our core Collections & Enforcement platforms, with a strong emphasis on CC&B and its downstream integrations: Maintain the stability, performance, and availability of core Enforcement & Collections systems — including Oracle CC&B (WebLogic, ODP/overdue processes, and core billing workflows), SOA Suite, batch workload automation, and secure file‑transfer integrations. Troubleshoot issues across CC&B integrations , batch jobs, APIs, secure file transfers, and event‑driven decisioning flows. Manage and support the Plato service (Equifax) used for enforcement and collections decisioning, ensuring accurate and timely inbound and outbound data exchanges Monitor and reconcile Plato / Equifax file transfers, handling retries, partial loads, failures, and downstream mismatches impacting Collections workflows Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across integrations, batch jobs, secure file transfers, APIs, CC&B processes, and decisioning workflows—ensuring NAT, Enforcement, and billing processes run within SLAs Manage and optimise daily and overnight CAWA batch schedules, ensuring all Enforcement, NAT, and billing workflows execute reliably, on time, and with full job‑stream visibility Participate in a 24/7 on‑call roster, providing after‑hours incident response, coordinating escalations, and contributing to root cause analysis and recovery Drive continuous improvement by enhancing monitoring, automation, scripting, documentation, and operational processes within a collaborative and knowledge‑sharing team This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including: Extensive experience supporting Oracle CC&B (or similar enterprise billing platforms). Strong understanding of CC&B integrations, WebLogic, overdue processes (ODP), batch failures, and performance diagnostics. Solid background in Linux/Red Hat or AIX — log analysis, service management, filesystem monitoring. Strong technical troubleshooting capability across logs, SQL analysis, batch processing, APIs, and end‑to‑end system behaviour Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, Java, Bash, or similar) to support automation, diagnostics, and performance improvements. Proven hands‑on experience in mission‑critical 24/7 environments, leading incident response and ensuring SLA compliance.
