We’re partnering with a respected investment services business seeking a Fund Accountant who enjoys both the technical depth of NAVs and financial reporting, and the project‑driven side of onboarding new clients and supporting fund migrations. While ideally seeking candidates with Paxus experience , the priority is strong, hands‑on fund accounting expertise . If you’ve worked across reconciliations, financial statements, tax components, and understand how funds operate end‑to‑end, the team can support you in building your Paxus capability. What matters most is your accuracy, initiative, and confidence working across multiple stakeholders during onboarding. What you’ll be doing Preparing and reviewing daily, monthly, and quarterly NAVs and unit pricing Overseeing reconciliations, fund accounting packs, and financial statements Supporting tax components including BAS/GST, distributions, taxable income reviews, and ITR working papers Leading the onboarding of new clients and fund structures Setting up new funds in Paxus and ensuring data integrity during migrations Mapping legacy data and coordinating with Custody, Unit Registry, Risk, and Relationship teams Managing issues registers, resolving client queries, and maintaining service excellence Assisting with audits, regulatory reporting, and ASIC lodgements What you’ll bring 3–5 years’ experience in fund accounting Strong understanding of investment structures, tax requirements, and compliance standards Paxus experience ideal, but not essential Excellent Excel capability and strong reconciliation skills A proactive, detail‑driven approach with strong stakeholder engagement skills Ability to manage multiple onboarding projects and maintain accuracy under pressure Why this role stands out Blend of technical fund accounting and project‑based onboarding work Exposure to new fund setups, migrations, and system improvements Opportunity to deepen your Paxus and fund operations expertise A role with visibility, ownership, and genuine career progression.
