We are currently partnering with a well-established organisation based in the Melbourne CBD seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support the finance team on a 3-month temporary contract. This is a great opportunity for a technically strong accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can quickly add value during a busy reporting period. Key Responsibilities Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances Support preparation of management reports and financial analysis Assist with statutory reporting and compliance requirements Work closely with the broader finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting Provide support during audit and year-end preparation where required About You CA / CPA qualified or working towards qualification Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or Senior Assistant Accountant role Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail Advanced Excel skills and strong systems capability Able to hit the ground running in a contract environment Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders The Opportunity This role offers the chance to join a collaborative finance team in a centrally located Melbourne CBD office, with the flexibility and strong hourly rate that comes with a temporary contract.
