Senior Management Accountant – Asset Management Leading Australian Investment & Development Group Our client is one of Australia’s most successful investment and development groups, managing a diverse portfolio of income‑generating assets across multiple sectors. With continued growth across their investment portfolio, they are seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to support asset‑level performance, financial reporting, and operational governance. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role is responsible for delivering accurate financials, insightful analysis, and strong control frameworks across a mixed portfolio of assets. Key Responsibilities Manage and code all asset‑related financial transactions with accuracy and compliance. Prepare monthly management reports with variance analysis, performance insights, and commentary for asset managers and senior leadership. Liaise with external audit partners and coordinate audit deliverables. Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long‑term financial plans across the asset base. Prepare half‑yearly tax packs, BAS submissions, and other statutory requirements. Provide ad hoc financial modelling, analysis, and reporting to support asset strategy, capital planning, and operational improvements. Implement and enhance systems, processes, and controls to improve reporting quality, data integrity, and timeliness. Experience & Qualifications Degree‑qualified Management Accountant with experience in asset management, investment management, funds, or a related financial services environment. Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret financial results and communicate insights clearly. Comfortable working autonomously across multiple assets with competing deadlines. CPA/CA qualification (completed or in progress) preferred. A proactive, detail‑driven professional who enjoys improving processes and supporting commercial outcomes.
