The Role The Practice Manager will lead all aspects of clinic operations, ensuring systems run smoothly, teams are supported, and exceptional standards of care are maintained. This pivotal role reports directly to the Practice Directors and offers the opportunity to shape the future growth and success of the practice. Key Responsibilities: Oversee financial operations including payroll, superannuation, ATO obligations and GP remuneration. Maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports, and support budgeting and forecasting. Manage debtors and creditors and lead day-to-day operational activities to maintain effective, efficient, and compliant service delivery. Review, develop and update practice policies, procedures, and business continuity plans. Manage the team, coordinate rosters and promote a strong team culture, effective communication and high performance across practice staff. Lead quality improvement initiatives, risk management and incident reporting. Support business strategy execution and new growth opportunities. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with GPs, allied health and referral partners. Coordinate marketing efforts including social media, community engagement and brand initiatives. You will have: Demonstrated experience in practice or healthcare management from within a GP clinic background (essential). Strong leadership capability with a track record of team development and positive culture influence. Excellent financial literacy, reporting skills and operational oversight. Confident communication skills with advanced interpersonal skills and sound business acumen. Competency with practice management systems and Microsoft Office; experience with clinical systems is beneficial.
