With offices across Australia and a strong reputation for technical excellence and client service, the firm partners with businesses and individuals to deliver practical, high-quality financial solutions. Their Brisbane team is now seeking a Senior Accountant / Supervisor to join their growing business services division. The Role: Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate accountants within the team Review financial statements, tax returns, and reconciliations Provide technical guidance and support to ensure high-quality work Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations Support the delivery of accounting and advisory services to a diverse client base Assist with workflow management and process improvements Work closely with Managers and Partners to achieve team and client outcomes Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders About You: Degree qualified in Accounting or related discipline 5 years’ experience in Australian public practice / business services Previous experience reviewing work and mentoring staff Strong technical knowledge across financial statements and tax compliance Experience with Xero, MYOB and Microsoft Office Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage priorities and support team performance What’s On Offer: Leadership opportunity within a well-established national firm Exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries Supportive and collaborative team environment Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities Employee wellbeing initiatives including EAP Regular social events and team activities If you’re looking to step into a leadership role within a respected national firm, we’d love to hear from you.
