Job Description About the team and the role We’re looking for a Senior Retail Performance Manager to drive sales performance and commercial outcomes across Sydney Airport’s retail portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Performance and Analytics, you’ll work closely with retail partners and internal teams to optimise performance, identify growth opportunities and improve the airport retail experience. This is a highly commercial, data‑driven role with a strong on‑site presence (minimum four days per week). In this role, you will have the opportunity to Monitor and analyse retail sales performance across specialty, food & beverage and travel essentials Track and interpret key KPIs including sales per sqm, sales per passenger and ATV Lead regular performance reviews with retail partners, driving accountability and improvement Identify underperformance and implement targeted action plans Analyse passenger flow, dwell time and shopping behaviour to inform retail optimisation Support sales growth initiatives, benchmarking and strategic planning Partner with analytics, leasing and operations teams to deliver commercial outcomes About You 7 years’ experience in travel retail, shopping centre or retail performance roles Strong commercial and financial acumen with confidence using data to drive decisions Experience working directly with retail partners in a performance‑focused environment Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset What we offer To find out more about the amazing work environment here at SYD, be sure to check out the Join us section of Sydney Airport’s website, where you can also see more about our flexible culture and work practices, alongside our other Employee benefits , or take a look at our LinkedIn Sydney Airport: Life page .
